The Miracle Worker

Stee: Watch the scissors!

Pamie: We should start a Hallie Kate Eisenberg Eye Contact Count.

Percy rings the house bell while shouting, "Help! She's trying to kill us! She's trying to kill us again!" Because everyone knows no matter how strong you are, you simply cannot escape the stiff-armed gropings of a blind and deaf girl who wants to jam fingers into your mouth. Mrs. Keller runs out of the house, holding her gown just so while shouting, "Helen!" -- a tactic they're still holding onto. The Kellers are some stubborn people. She tells PG to give her the scissors. PG continues a series of grunts and wiggles while in Mrs. Keller's arms. Mrs. Keller finally jams a piece of candy in PG's mouth (in an incredibly painful close-up) and that soothes the savage wigglebeast.

Stee: What's with the accents?

Pamie: Why is everyone talking to Helen?

Stee: Yeah, I don't know.

Pamie: Is that Bud from Married With Children?

Stee: No, David Faustino is doing a play on Lankershim in North Hollywood right now called Popcorn.

Pamie: Of course he is.

Stee: What's with the sideburns?

Pamie: He couldn't grow them in time so they stippled.

Stee: From the Martha Stewart Living book on how to paint your bathroom for little money.

Inside the mansion, James (Helen's brother, all-around wise guy) tells Mr. Keller (who is only known as "Captain") that he hopes he has a good story prepared for the day Helen finally kills someone. Crazy Aunt Lady who is sitting in the living room makes a comment about how James is either gay or embarrassed to bring people around the house when Helen is around. James says that Helen is faking the entire deaf and dumb thing to get attention. Mrs. Keller directs PG into the room and introduces her to everyone in the house.

Pamie: Watch out!

Stee: Man, the mom can see and she's running into things.

They just keep on talking to Helen, like that's going to help eventually. Crazy Aunt Lady hands PG a doll, which makes PG go into another series of grunts. As Crazy Aunt Lady discusses how Helen is such a lovely child but should be put into an asylum, PG goes into this moaning grope-her-eyes, grope-the-doll's-eyes thing. They edit the scene so whenever someone talks it looks like PG's staring right at him or her.

Stee: I want my wife to call me Captain.
