TWoP Picks The 2008 Golden Globes: TV

Jeremy Piven -- Entourage
Andy Serkis -- Longford
William Shatner -- Boston Legal
Donald Sutherland -- Dirty Sexy Money

Should Win: Donald Sutherland, no question about it. The best actor in a show filled to the brim with great acting.

Will Win: Donald Sutherland. This award usually goes to someone from a TV movie or mini-series, but we barely remember Andy Serkis and we're pretty sure we saw Longford.

Best Performance by an Actress in a Supporting Role
Rose Byrne -- Damages
Rachel Griffiths -- Brothers & Sisters
Katherine Heigl -- Grey's Anatomy
Samantha Morton -- Longford
Anna Paquin -- Bury My Heart at Wounded Knee
Jaime Pressly -- My Name Is Earl

Should Win: Rachel Griffiths. She got saddled with a lot of the more inconsistent storylines last season on Brothers & Sisters, but she always brings it with the acting.

Will Win: Katherine Heigl should take this under the "Biggest Star Wins" by-law, but we're putting our money on Samantha Morton, who was really quite good in Longford. Probably.
