An undetermined amount of time has passed when Emme welcomes them back to their first elimination. She explains that the fifteen who are chosen will be moving in to the mansion with Luke. Nothing sparks romance like getting to know someone's pooping habits right off the bat. I'm just noticing how many candles line the walls. How very flammable-looking. Anyway, Luke comes back in and makes some kind of blah speech while strummy music plays. The future Mrs. Conley might be in this room, you're all beautiful, etc. The first girl to get her ring back is Anna, who you might recall was the first girl to lock lips with him. The second girl to get her ring back is Malissa, who was the second girl to kiss him. What's Spanish for "not surprising in the least"?
Suspenseful piano music plays. Worried looks are exchanged. Magali gets a ring, as do Heather, Mandy the salsa dancer, Amanda, and Vanessa. Bonnie interviews that she was worried about going home. He chooses Tali and Lauren (who snuggled with him but didn't kiss him). Danielle interviews that the pool stunt was either the best thing or the worst thing. I know which one gets my vote. Bonnie gets a ring, and so does girly-voice Christina. Danielle the annoying sea otter gets a ring. Melissa of the backless dress interviews tearfully that her weight has gotten in the way of her finding love. She hopes it's fate that's brought her and Luke together. Fate or a casting call. Arianne gets a ring. Kristian interviews that she thought she would be going home, but she's given back her ring. Now there's just one ring left, which Emme points out to everyone who can't count that high. More suspenseful music. The remaining girls look on the verge of vomiting. Finally, he picks, and it's Melissa the weepy girl with the backless dress.
Emme lets them know it's time for the rejected girls to say their goodbyes. Going home are: Thicky and Juicy, Exploded Bra, Bathing Suit, Rocket Scientist, and Unwise Halter. Outside, for their parting interviews, some of the girls cry about being alone, lost chances for love, and so on. Inside, it's all group hugs and cheers. Here in the recapper's seat, it's time to break out the booze. I need it.
