Luke and Danielle set off for their date. She hopes it'll be fun and not involve much talking because she's "talked out." I wish Kristian could be talked out. Danielle tells Luke she's happy to ditch the girls and engage in some "boy talk" with Luke. And before you know it, she's talking up a storm about sports and her stand-up comedy routine about her dad who dressed in drag at Sea World once and is no doubt thrilled that his daughter just said that on national television. "Danielle can definitely chat it up," Luke sighs. That makes it difficult to have a two-way conversation with her. I think he's just annoyed that she's not telling him how awesome he is at everything like all the other girls. "Read any good books lately, by the way?" Danielle asks. "Um," Luke says. He doesn't read books, and Danielle is getting the boot at the end of this episode. Maybe she can hook up with Sam instead. They finally arrive at a restaurant so Danielle can enjoy some of Luke's favorite foods. Way to make the date all about you again, Luke. They sit, and Luke asks if Danielle likes calamari. "I don't eat seafood," Danielle says. Luke's face falls as he thinks of all the Red Lobster all-you-can-eat-crab nights he won't be able to enjoy if he picks her. Luke thinks Danielle's dislike of seafood is awkward as if the restaurant doesn't serve anything but seafood. It does, and she'll be fine with a steak or whatever. Fortunately, Danielle does drink so they can still get wasted.
Anna, Bonnie, and Tali talk shit about Danielle. Bonnie is happy she's gone for a few hours and says the house is more relaxed without Danielle in it. In the kitchen, Kristian says she wants to strangle Danielle, but Kristian probably wants to strangle everyone who so much as looks at Luke including Luke himself because if she can't have him, no one can! Together FOREVER!!!! Lauren hopes that Luke will see Danielle's "non-ladylike ways" tonight. What non-ladylike ways? Is it manly to not eat seafood or something? And it's not like Lauren is the epitome of feminine sophistication. Is she eating a bowl of Kraft Macaroni and Cheese for dinner? Is she eight?
