Luke interviews that he tried to plan a perfect date for Tali, only to have her "wrought with fear" instead. He's starting to think this may have been the wrong date choice. But it's not like he chose it anyway. The producers did, and they probably knew Tali was afraid of the ocean when they did it, too. Luke says Tali doesn't have to snorkel if she doesn't want to, but she does anyway. Tali clings to the boat ladder while Luke tries to talk her through everything. He's actually very nice and considerate about the whole thing, and Tali feels like she can really trust him. Ha! She now has both a life preserver and a life jacket, but she credits Luke for making her feel safe. With that, they actually get to do some snorkeling. Luke says that it meant a lot to him that Tali wanted to be around him so much that she overcame her fear of salt water. Then they get to have a picnic lunch on the boat and Luke says that Tali was very courageous because she was scared but did it anyway. "One more fear to go," Tali says. Luke interviews that Tali is not an easy choice to take to the end because of their cultural differences. Even so, he says he has feelings for Tali that he's never had for any other woman. Didn't he say that about Malissa, though? And isn't true love wanting to be with just that person and no one else, in which case Luke cannot possibly really be in love with any of these girls?
That night, they get dinner on some patio. With drinks, of course! Tali says that today was a really big step for her because she hasn't been in an ocean in fourteen years. Did she choose to be in the Navy or did they choose for her? If it's the latter, she must have been so pissed. I want to know more! I find Tali's military experience fascinating. Luke asks if Tali is now ready to dive right into the next ocean. "Don't get your expectations too high!" she giggles. You know, when they actually let Tali speak, she is very likeable. She interviews that she's falling "deeply in love" with Luke but that's very difficult when he's dating two other girls at the same time. She tells him that it'll be hard tomorrow when she's worried that he's falling for someone else. Way to be vulnerable, Tali. Malissa has nothing on you! Luke says that he's falling for Tali, too. Make out! Tali interviews that she has feelings for Luke that she's never had for any other man. With that, Luke invites her up to his room to "snuggle." Luke, do not say "snuggle." That is not attractive in a man. "For real? Oh, awesome," Tali says, not actually looking that thrilled about it. I wouldn't be, either. I don't need a national TV audience watching me go to some guy's hotel room.
