Luke and Malissa enter the otherwise empty billiard hall and Luke is not pleased to see that she has definite pool skills. Yeah, I have a feeling Malissa hangs out at a lot of pool halls. Malissa hasn't learned the important lesson that you must let the guy win and interviews that she's really good at pool and very competitive. Advantage: Tali. Malissa sinks a ton of balls and then it's Luke's turn. He misses. Malissa steps up and sinks more balls while Luke interviews that she's really good at this and he's going to get made fun of by his "boys" for losing to her so badly. After Malissa kicks Luke's ass at pool, they share a disgusting-looking pizza. Why is pizza so good, but on reality shows it always looks so gross? Luke and Malissa both agree that pizza and beer are staples of theirs, which explains why they're on a show about overweight people dating. I love pizza too, guys, but it's called moderation. And that means it can't be a staple. "I try to watch what I eat a little bit," Malissa says; "but I'm not really very good. Like, maybe I need glasses or something." Perhaps glasses that have writing on the lenses that says "DON'T EAT SO MUCH PIZZA"?

Luke brings up tonight's family meeting. He tells her she'll be asked all kinds of questions about her life and background. I can't wait to see what she says about her sisters. Malissa interviews that she's sure she'll get along fine with Luke's family since she gets along so well with him. Her plan is to be herself and hope they like who she is. Or at the very least, like her more than Tali.

Luke and Malissa arrive at Luke's dad's house. Luke interviews that it'll be interesting to see how his family reacts to Malissa after meeting Tali. I have a feeling it won't be very interesting at all, though. Malissa is allowed in the house right away, possibly because she's Christian. She's greeted warmly by everyone, who are so happy to see that she is blond-haired and blue-eyed. Mike demands a hug from Malissa, no doubt to get as close as possible to his son's other girlfriend's boobs. Meanwhile, Grandma is so wearing an outfit that Granny wore on The Beverly Hillbillies. She's like straight out of Central Casting! I don't think she's related to Luke at all. They just wanted a kooky old lady to spice things up a bit. While Mike offers Malissa a drink, she clearly does not like Luke's dog, who tries to jump up and say hello. She says she loves beer, and Mike thinks "that's a good sign." Not really, though. He also notes that she has "Irish eyes." I'm guessing that Tali did not have Irish eyes.
