Earl and Randy walk off, smiling. Randy's sorry he made Earl lose his friend, but Earl says maybe Zeke and Arlo were the ones meant to be friends. Randy agrees, and they both look away from each other with knowing smiles. Then Randy finds his lottery ticket, and makes the Earl raised-eyebrow face. Earl tells Randy that's kind of his thing, then he tells a joke: A pirate walks into a bar. He has the ship's steering wheel attached to the crotch of his pants. The bartender tells him he has a steering wheel coming out of his pants and the pirate says, "Arrrrgh. It's driving me nuts." Randy laughs and says, "That one was actually funny." Earl asks what he means by "actually." Randy plays dumb, and it's over, leaving us with this valuable lesson: Lying to those you love is okay, as long as it's for karma. Or something like that.
