As the camera lovingly pans across Jordan's profile (as he stares straight ahead) to Angela's beaming face (staring straight at him), AVO says, "What's amazing is when you can feel your life going somewhere, like your life just figured out how to get good, like, that second." Jordan awakens from his reverie and reaches across Angela's lap to the glove box, from which he produces the ID. She marvels, "Wow, it looks real! Why --" but before she can ask her question, Jordan pounces on her and clumsily tries to kiss her. She manages a "hey" and pushes him off her; as he settles back, licking his lips, she says, "I'm sorry, I just..." Jordan says, "No --" and Angela explains, "I was talking." Jordan says, "No. Whatever." They exchange a look of understanding, or so Angela thinks, because, again, she says, "So how come --" and Jordan once again attempts to make his move. This time she shoves him off her and yells, "Quit it! I mean, you have to work up to that! I don't open that wide at the dentist!" Jordan sighs, "How old are you?" Angela rolls her eyes and snaps, "I don't believe this. What is your point?" He doesn't answer, and she murmurs, "Fifteen." Jordan, looking straight ahead again, mutters, "You act younger." Angela shows she has more spine than every previous female teen character on television by very emphatically informing Jordan, "First of all, you don't know me well enough to say how old I seem. And second --" "You talk a lot," Jordan interjects, and Angela incredulously tells him, "I've said, like, eight sentences to you my entire life!" Jordan sighs very loudly, and says, "This whole day has been one long thing that makes no sense." He slouches down in the driver's seat, and as Angela watches him, AVO says, "We both stopped talking. Part of his sleeve was touching my arm. I don't know if he knew. Then everything started to seem perfect, for some reason. The feel of his shirt against my elbow. The fact that I still had an elbow. It was the perfect moment for him to kiss me. Or him to anything me." Jordan gazes at her, and then leans closer to her, and...opens her car door for her, saying, "Well, I gotta go. Later." Angela uses all her energy to hold it together, and gets out, slamming the door. Jordan's car pulls away from the curb, and she watches him go, her arms crossed. AVO says, "I could have killed him."
Neil comes down the stairs at Chase Place, surprised that Graham and Patty are home so early. They come in with several feet's distance between them, clearly still annoyed with each other, and Neil asks of Patty, "Whoa. What did you do to your hair?" She rolls her eyes at Neil and goes upstairs. Graham rolls his eyes at her departing figure.
