After the break, we're in the hall at school, where Jordan "Almond" Catalano is arguing with the school guidance counsellor. She's asking him to give her a Walkman, which she promises to return after school; he laughingly protests that he doesn't have one. Storming past him, Rayanne snaps at him to give the counsellor the Walkman, adding, "God, people are so rude!" She stops for a sip of water and is presently joined by Rickie and Angela. Rayanne frankly informs Angela, "So, not to shock you, but your dad's attractive." "Oh, I'm sure!" Angela replies dismissively. "Not that I'd attack him, or anything," adds Rayanne, "but I wouldn't leave me alone with him, either." Rayanne is way ahead of the curve, wearing a little crocheted skullcap years before Kareem Said. Rickie recaps his encounter with Graham at the door ("I was like, 'Well, hi,' and he was like, 'Well, hi,' and I was like, 'Well, 'bye...'" Marcel Proust's got nothing on Rickie), and Rayanne continues her review of Graham: "It's not just physical. He's...nice. You just have a really nice dad. He's really nice." AVO muses, "When someone compliments your parents, there's, like, nothing to say. It's like a stun gun to your brain." Rickie adds that Graham's stubble is exactly the "perfect length." Angela exasperatedly protests that Graham doesn't have stubble: "He ran out of disposable razors that morning; he was all disturbed about it." She shambles toward her classroom as Rayanne coos, "Oh! In-touch-with-his-emotions Dad!" Angela laughs at them to shut up as Rayanne calls after her, "Ignore Angela! She can't help herself -- she's the product of a two-parent household!"
