My So-Called Bathroom. Sharon clomps in, kvetching about a run in her stocking; Rayanne sits on the windowsill. When Sharon comes up to the sinks, Rayanne asks if she wants to know "something really laughable?" and as Sharon ices her down with a glare, Rayanne fake-guffaws, "I have no friends," and then the smile falls straight off of her face. Sharon arches a brow. Rayanne jumps down and lists her former friends: Angela, whom they "obviously can't discuss"; Rickie, "totally not [her] friend" anymore; Tino, whatever. Rayanne draws closer to Sharon and says, "You're probably thinkin', [Valley Girl voice] 'So what? You, like, deserve to have no friends,'" and when Sharon rolls her eyes, Rayanne says sadly, "I mean that is what you're thinking. Isn't it?" and stares searchingly into Sharon's eyes. Sharon, provoked, snaps that she's never met anyone like Rayanne -- Rayanne will "say anything and a person can say anything to" Rayanne, and Rayanne's, like, "non-shockable, or something." "It's refreshing, isn't it?" Rayanne wheedles, and against her will, Sharon smiles and admits that "it is, kind of...refreshing." "Refreshing," Rayanne whispers to herself forlornly. "So you do," Sharon tells her crisply. Rayanne looks quizzical. "Have a friend," Sharon clarifies. Rayanne, suddenly flustered, draws back from Sharon as Sharon goes on, "I mean, maybe not the one you want, but " Rayanne busies herself with something on the windowsill; Sharon looks at her pityingly. Rayanne blurts out, "I screwed up." Sharon walks over to Rayanne and tugs on her braids: "Duh squared." Both of them smile ruefully. Rayanne grabs her bag, sighs, "Yeeeah," and heads out of the girls' room.
