As the car pulls away, Angela glances behind her at Brian and tells Rayanne, "My clueless neighbour." Rayanne appreciatively says, "You look so tough! This is going to be one amazing night!"
Next to what could be a club, or could be a go-kart track, Rickie leans against a chain-link fence and asks, "Where is Tino?" which, as we know now, is the question for the ages. Rayanne stomps toward him in her thigh-high boots, carrying a bottle of brown liquor, and promises, "He'll be here, all right? Haven't you ever waited for anything?" "Yeah, for my life to start," says Rickie, inspecting the bottle she's just handed him and passing it on to Angela. She takes a sip, makes a face, and hands the bottle back to Rayanne, who tells them that "it's way early" and that Tino will be there.
Time passes. More people have arrived. Rickie is now leaning against a wall, and we see that they're in an alley, still waiting for Tino. Angela and Rayanne are sitting on the ground, comparing their feet. Angela compliments Rayanne's feet, marveling at "how thin [they] are," and Rayanne slurs that Angela's are little. Angela argues that her feet are fat. I think all of us women have had a conversation as inane as this at one time or another. ["And then there's the two of us, who have them daily. Heh." -- Sars] Rayanne excitedly says, "Let's trade shoes!" and they do.
