Montage alert! The bed gets rebuilt by Rayanne -- still with the cuffs dangling from her wrist -- and Brian, who comments while hoisting the mattress, "I can't get it up." "Rookie," Rayanne snarks. Hee. Danielle and Sharon, toting blankets and a garbage bag, survey the living room, which is a disastrous mélange of board games, snack food, and pillows. Helping Rickie and Brian refit the mattress to the headboard, Sharon gets a finger mashed in the gears.
Patty comes in the front door and looks around for signs of trouble, but it's all straightened up downstairs. She and Graham walk slowly towards the stairs, and she calls up, "Hello?" Upstairs, the kids pile onto the bed, and Rayanne hits the remote on the TV, switching on a fishing show, which they then simulate rapt interest in. Patty and Graham enter, surprised by the crowd; Angela explains nervously that Rayanne came over. "And I did," Sharon chirps. Patty finds the Cracker Jacks box on the floor and clears her throat at Danielle, who apologizes and runs over to pick it up, and Patty absently unpockets the handcuff key and slaps it down on the bureau, asking what they're doing up there. Danielle spots the key and snags it. Patty would "prefer it" if they'd watch TV elsewhere, and Angela apologizes and starts to explain, but Danielle interrupts in an urgent tone: "Angela!" Angela ignores her and asks about her parents' weekend. Patty and Graham both dissemble, calling it "nothing special," and Patty asks what they got up to, but before Angela can answer, Danielle's all, "ANGELA!" again, and Patty turns around to see what bug Danielle's got up her ass, so Danielle covers with, "I, uh, really missed you," grabs Patty in a hug, and hands the key off to Angela behind Patty's back. As Patty coos, "Oh, Danielle," Angela gawps at the key all "sweet!" and passes the key to Rickie, who passes it to Sharon, who passes it to Brian, who struggles to fit it into the lock, but Patty's about to turn around, so Angela smothers her mom with a hug from behind and says in a hiding-laughter tone that she really missed Patty too. Graham comes out of the bathroom, and Patty shoots him an "isn't that sweet" look. He looks back at her like, "I…guess so." On the bed, there's a click, and then Rayanne jumps up and says they'll just get out of the way, then, and everyone abruptly jumps off the bed and files out of the room.
Patty watches them go all "the hell?" and Graham shrugs, "What a weird weekend." Patty shrugs off her coat and slinks over to Graham, sighing, "And we never even had a chance…to reconnect." They mack, and I don't really understand why Graham wants anything to do with her at this point, but anyway, they fall onto the bed and land on the cuffs, and Patty opens the box and says that Camille never picked them up, and Graham takes them out and wiggles his eyebrows at Patty while dangling the cuffs from one finger. They roll out of the frame, giggling, and then we cut to the closed door of their bedroom with Graham chuckling and the fishing-show narrator still droning on. There's more giggling, and another click, and then Graham asks, "Where's the key?"
Downstairs, Angela shows everyone out. She kisses Sharon and thanks her, and then she thanks Brian, who stands there waiting for a kiss of his own until Rickie pretty much elbows him through the door. Hee. Angela asks Rickie for a minute alone with Rayanne, and he shrugs, so Angela closes the door on him and faces Rayanne with her hands on her hips. Rayanne continues the mirroring of the earlier scene by saying she doesn't "want to get into any big discussion, or anything," and Angela matter-of-factly says, "Oh, neither do I." Rayanne's taken aback: "Then why'd you ask me to stay?" Angela holds out her hand: "The key?" Rayanne stares at her. Angela stares expectantly back. Rayanne smiles all "touché" and digs the key out of her bra. Angela accepts it, saying, "I knew you couldn't resist." "Party pooper," Rayanne sighs good-naturedly, and lets herself out. Angela slumps against the door and says aloud, "Weekend…from hell." Danielle watches Angela with a worried expression, and her VO tells us, "That was the best weekend of my entire life." "By the way," Angela says, fixing her sister with a fond look, "thanks." But of course little sister has to take it too far: "So what are we doing next weekend?" "We are not doing anything," Angela snorts, heading upstairs, and Danielle follows her, suggesting, "We could see what Brian's doing!" "Danielle!" Angela grunts. Danielle continues to tail her up the stairs, pestering her.
