Number Crunch - Like the movie Crash, this episode is about a bunch of people randomly connecting. Also like that movie, the main plot is sort of pointless. The episode ends with a surprising twist for JC and Carter, however, which is pretty cool.

Carter Beats the Devil

Get Carter - Carter's number is up, but the likelihood of her getting killed is about as good as the likelihood that I'll watch this show again.

A Reese By Any Other Name

Foe - This week, JC bonds with Alan Dale, a former Stasi agent who's out for revenge against the guys who turned on him two decades ago.

Unusual Suspects

Witness - Enrico Colantoni guest stars as a Number of the week -- a school teacher who needs saving. There's a twist, though, and let's just say we haven't seen the last of him.

The B Plot Thickens

The Fix - This episode is about a Number who's in almost the same profession as JC. They flirt and work together and ultimately put some bad guys away. But Carter -- relegated to her own secondary storyline -- gets closer to figuring out the "Elias, M." case, which is far more interesting.

"Try The Eggs Benedict"

Judgment - JC and Bench work together to save both a judge and his young son. But that's not enough to elicit a smile from our mysterious superhero. What finally does it is Bench's breakfast recommendation.

"Who Are You? Why Are You Here?"

Cura Te Ipsum - Lindsay Weir shows up and asks JC what we've all been dying to know. But, despite his therapy sessions with nearly every other character in this episode, he still doesn't reveal much.

"Not Every Ex-Soldier Meets a Reclusive Billionaire"

Mission Creep - JC decides he's lonely and wants to join a gang, so Finch sets it up for him. Oh, yeah, and they save someone, too.

The Undead

Ghosts - Just like our protagonists, the would-be victim of the week is not supposed to be alive. But JC and Finch are dead-set on making sure she stays in the land of the living.

Choose Your Own Caviezel

Pilot - In the first episode of his new series, James Caviezel plays nude and in love; shaggy, drunk, and homeless; ninja; and gainfully employed crime-solver/killer. I don't know which one you like, but Ben Linus sure seems to love the crime-solver/killer.
