Sins of the Father - Coop goes to jail and gets beaten up, but he still comes out looking better than anyone else in this episode -- partly because he's smart and wonderful, but also because so many of the other characters on this show suck.

The Amazing Addison

The Hard Part - Have you heard that this show is about this woman who can do anything she wants, and we're still expected to root for her?! She can deliver babies in wrecked cars in the bottom of a canyon and make out with her best friend's husband all in the same episode.

What a Pussy!

Slip Slidin' Away - Addison becomes a crazy cat lady, Charlotte hands out vibrators, and Pete's too much of a coward to find out how Violet actually feels about him.

Indecision 2009

Strange Bedfellows - Violet waffles all episode about whether to testify, and then can't even decide how to testify. Sam doesn't know if he can work with Charlotte King. And Addison tries to talk a woman into having a risky surgery on the unborn baby she's carrying.

Switcheroo!

Pushing the Limits - Oceanside loses a naturopath to Pacific Wellcare, but gains a hospital chief when Charlotte ponies up $50,000 her loser boyfriend Cooper can't afford.

"How Come All Anybody Thinks About Is Sex?"

Right Here, Right Now - Bailey asks that question of Addison, and while we don't get an answer, I'm glad someone brought it up. While she's at it, Bailey also calls Addison out on her bullshit with Noah and Squeaky, and almost makes out with Sam.

Regret and Recovery

The Way We Were - It's a month later and everyone's still trying to move on, though not too productively. Violet has "crazy head," Cooper's still blaming himself, Addison and Sam can't forgive Nae, Charlotte's still heartless, and Pete's enabling Violet. Dell's not even back at work, which means he's not recovered yet either. For doctors, these people sure suck at getting better.

(Sort of) Birth And (Sort of) Death In the Same Episode

A Death In The Family - There's a funeral from the past and a baby who isn't exactly "born." But the most shocking thing of all is that's it's not all about Addison (though she tries like hell to make it be).

Special Delivery

Yours, Mine & Ours - Addison can't do her job, Dell sucks at his job, Naomi quits her job, Charlotte loses her job and Violet's job puts her life in danger. So ends another season of Private Practice.

Letting Go

What You Do For Love - Pete breaks up with his girlfriend, Sam breaks up with Naomi, and our patient of the week (a teacher) breaks up with her student. It's another happy day at Oceanside.
