Sam's at Naomi's, where the women are yelling at him about what happened. Naomi says she was ditching school with a boy and Maya's strongest protest is, "His name is Dink." Sam thought she was just friends with him, and Naomi's annoyed Sam knew about Dink at all. They ask Maya if she and Dink are having sex. She says no, but Naomi says they can't trust her when she's showing such poor judgment. Maya asks if having a boyfriend is poor judgment, and Naomi says yes, because, "Did I say you could have a boyfriend? Did I say you could talk to boys? Did I say you could even be around a boy?" She's in full-on, hysterical mom mode, and Sam asks her to calm down and discuss this rationally. Maya says that's fine and maybe Mom wouldn't be so irrational if she had a boyfriend. Naomi's going to kill Maya for that, so Sam tells her to go pack a bag. He tells Naomi he has this, since she's been doing all the parenting. Naomi says he better, since his is their child.
Addison's back with Ronald and Eleanor and their baby, whose heart rate has slowed down, a side effect of the brain pressure. Addison says the baby isn't going to make it to viability. They have to perform the surgery or terminate the pregnancy. Ronald tells Eleanor he's worried about her, but she's worried about the baby and wonders how soon Addison can operate.
We see Violet laying in a bed in her bra and underwear, post-sex. She says they should do this more often, and the Captain gets up behind her and says it's not a problem. She then freaks out about how she didn't remember she had a body that could be touched. She asks if he minds her scar, and he says not at all. He says it will fade and, until then, it should remind her that she went through something no one understands, which gives her the right to do whatever she wants, whether it's this or something else. Moral lessons from the Captain: If something bad happens to you, it's okay to be a reprehensible person who doesn't care about anyone else. Violet worries Addison's going to hate her, and he says she'll be in good company. Violet laughs because it's just so cute or something. The Captain says emotional discussions aren't good for him and Addison, because he worked so much and missed everything and lost track of her. Violet says he's here now, trying, but maybe he needs to see her more "here" in her element, which makes me think they're in Violet's office or something. But it looks like her bed, so I don't get it.
