Dmitry's baby is asleep and they just leave him like that. He does show that the hood unzips to make a cape. Michael thinks that this is a flaw. Heidi points out that lots of kids clothes do this. "Is this a trend?" he asks. Nina looks at him like he's from Mars. "They're dreaming that they're superheroes," Heidi explains. Michael just had to be informed that kids like to play around. Hilary thinks that the outfit is borderline costume, but she really likes it. Nancy and Nile come out and Christopher explains their collaboration. Nina says that it looks adorable on the runway, but it's not very practical. Heidi likes it a lot. Michael isn't crazy about the jacket, but he really likes the dress. He loves the dress for mom. Hilary loves all of it, including the jacket. Heidi thanks all of them and says that this is going to be a tough decision.
They go backstage while the judges confer. They liked Fabio's look. Nina thinks it was boyish and fun and practical. They feel like Sonjia's look could be mixed with a bunch of other stuff. Heidi liked Dmitry's also. They feel positively about Christopher's look too. Michael repeats that Elena's look was like a sample sale. They think that Melissa was off the mark with her tube dress.
The designers return to the stage and Heidi repeats that they all did very well for the this challenge. Sonjia is the winner for the boy look! Christopher is the winner for the girl look! They're both very excited. Dmitry is in. Fabio is in. That leaves Melissa and Elena. Melissa is... in. She goes backstage and gets hugged by everyone. Heidi tells Elena that she is great and can be proud of herself. She leaves without thanking everyone, which I kind of admire. She interviews that this sucks but she is a little relieved. Tim comes in and says that everyone did a fabulous job. He says that he doesn't know what they will do without her stream of expletives all day long. She interviews that she's glad she stuck to who she is and is content with the outcome. And, it looks like she is overwhelmingly on her way to winning the fan favorite, so there's that.
