Afterwards, Carolyn calls out Laura Kathleen, Andrae, Joshua, Anthony Ryan, Emilio and Althea. They are the top and bottom. Althea says that she thought it was interesting to take this older building and modernize it. She sounds really nervous. I can hardly understand her. Isaac says that he likes the jacket and how it references the photo, but he has a real problem with the pants. Hmm. I hadn't gotten a really good look at these. The draping is interesting, but it creates a bit of a traffic jam in the front and doesn't look completely on purpose. Althea says that she was trying to push the look. Georgina thinks that the idea of a deconstructed jumper pant is a great one, but Givenchy is doing it spot-on right now, so she needs to be perfect. Carolyn thought that the look was drab, though she liked the colors and how they referenced the photo. Charlotte Ronson is a fan of the jacket but not the pants. Tevi is completely different from the other judges. She calls herself a "drop crotch apologist" but wishes Althea had done something more interesting with the jacket and the blouse underneath.
Anthony Ryan repeats his moving forward story, which really doesn't connect to the outfit for me. Isaac loves the manifestation of the photo on the dress. He also thinks that, with the many black straps on the back, he was able to keep the dress from being too sexy. Georgina likes everything but tells him that she has seen this color and this dress from him before. She wants him to take more of a risk next time. Carolyn agrees about the risk part, but is happy with the dress. Charlotte thinks that the mock neck keeps the dress from being too sexy as well. Tevi has a lot of compliments. She thinks that he served the photo well as well as the woman who would wear his dress. That's kind of a cycle of logic, but I think I get it.
Joshua gets slammed by Georgina for being too costume-y. Isaac thinks that there too much color. Tevi doesn't think it works as separates or an ensemble. Andrae presents his modular knits idea, as associated with this forlorn Debra from Alabama. Isaac is completely confused. He knew nothing of the modular nature of the look and doesn't see how that is forlorn. Andrae explains that he thought the story could be the pattern of the dress. Isaac sort of agrees and Andrae says, "Maybe I'll get through to you, Oh Dear." He just sounds crazy now. Georgina thinks that the zippers are buckling and ruining the silhouette, but she loves the color blocking. Charlotte thinks that he needed more time.
