Back at the workroom, they start sketching, which seems a little backwards, doesn't it? Austin says that he is trying to envision a starry sky and he is using a black organza as the background for his lights. The fancy folks at PR have created a makeshift darkroom for the designers so that they can test their lighting! How fun! Jerell is using some funky supplies, ya'll. Like feathers that glow and stuff. Sounds scary. He thinks that's true to who he is. I agree. Michael says that he's going to push himself and see what he can come up with. Mondo is in a pickle. This is not a great medium for him, because the special effects can so easily seem forced. So, he's trying to let the fabric speak to him. The fabric is very quiet right now. I wish I had that problem. My clothes won't shut up.

Kenley is working on making a plaid and asks Mondo if he likes it. He responds that he's not the right person to ask. Not incredibly generous, but whatever he's entitled to that, I guess. Then, Jerell says, "If you don't have anything nice to say, don't tell Kenley anything." But, seriously, what have I missed? She sticks to her guns design-wise, but she's so much more respectful than she was during her original season. Mondo cracks that she's really stretched herself this time. So, that part where Michael said that he was going to push himself? Psyche! He's actually going to do something that is super comfortable for him, but he's just not sure what yet. He goes to the dark room and Mondo says that he's playing seven minutes in heaven with himself. Ha, Mondo. Well, maybe being alone means that it's actually a lifetime in heaven and isn't that fantastic and maybe we don't NEED another person to make life special? Ever thought of that? Maybe Michael's got his own 401k and friends and pets and lots of, LOTS of things that are super fulfilling in his life -- like that band he's about to start, and maybe French lessons -- and why does everything have to be about another person? Wait. Breathing. So, Michael is concentrating on what he will do next. He has commitment issues regarding fashion. Breathing.
