To remind us that Martha is, in fact, still a character on this show, we find her in Jim's room when he returns from Mary's room, bitching, "Your room was locked!" Martha, calmly making Jim's bed, tells him that Taudrey drove away and that "you'll never catch her, Mr. Prufrock. She's much too fast for you." She continues on that "clandestine liaisons" will not be appreciated in her guestrooms. He says that's fine, as he won't be around much longer anyway, now will he?
