This time, the pipe finds its target in none other than the busboy, who had been hiding out behind the storage racks. The team finds him before anyone else. "You think just because you dead that you ain't goin' to tell us what you've been up to," Emerson grumbles at the body, "but you are SO wrong." In fact, what he was up to was as follows: He's an undercover insurance investigator with Bao's insurance provider. It is too bad he's dead, too, because he supercute. Anyway, he's there because Bao took out a huge life insurance policy the day before he died, with Mei as the beneficiary. That info discovered, they leave the guy's dead body, which no one else seems to have noticed, despite an explosion in the kitchen full of people, to go and talk to Mei. She's less than receptive, and when Emerson gets aggressive with her, none other than Shrimpboy, alleged poker gangster, intervenes. The crew wisely backs off. As they are leaving, a waiter gives Emerson a to-go order he didn't order, but which contains another secret note: Meet me across the street, alone!
