Andrew admits that he wasn't happy when he found out "Shiv" was pregnant. "We weren't in a good place. We weren't speaking. Barely having sex, anymore." Notice that "were" there. To me, that implies barely no longer sums up their sex life. What do you think?
Andrew continues: "Getting pregnant seemed like a complication." Bridget's eyes scream: "YOU THINK IT'S A COMPLICATION FOR YOU?" Her mouth says nothing, though. Andrew adds that now, it's a blessing. "This baby means everything to me, and that's why the lies hurt. I just don't want...anything to go wrong, ever again, between us." Having just marked the 17th anniversary of my wedding, Andrew, let me tell you that your expectations are laughable. Bridget ignores my counsel and says, "I don't either." Andrew caresses her bare shoulder (she's wearing a gorgeous purple gown that I covet), as Bridget says, "I've lost too much, already. I don't want to lose you, too." They hug. He strokes her face and Bridget is near tears as they kiss. It's soft at first, but quickly heats up. They're interrupted by Andrew's phone. Bridget breaks the kiss and tells him to take it. Andrew: "Hello. [...] Yes, Mr. Carpenter. I know who you are. You're Juliet's English teacher." Yeah, but we know he's really Logan Echolls, just trawling the New York Public schools for a little jailbait to get his mind off Veronica Mars.
City Street, Night: Mr. "Logan" Carpenter is standing in front of quite a few police cars, which makes his inner Logan Echolls feel right at home. He's wearing a hoody. Oh, you want to know what he says. Sorry. "I'm calling about Juliet. [...] She's been in a car accident." Dun dun dun. Commercial.
When we return from the break, there's a graphic on the screen telling me, "It's your money. Don't burn it." I just got a $600.00 oil bill. Burning money might be a more economical way to heat the house, CW. Andrew arrives at the scene of the accident and demands to know where Juliet is. He's in a tizzy as he tells Logan that the cops said the girls had been drinking, and it's a miracle they're unharmed." He wants to know what Logan is even doing there. "No offense, you've been her teacher -- what -- a week?" Logan: "She called me." Andrew looks at him, somewhat alarmed, and yeah, you should be, Andrew, because why the hell does Juliet have her new, young teacher's phone number? Logan explains Juliet said it was an emergency, which still doesn't explain how she has your digits, Logan. You are gonna get yourself in so much trouble. I can't wait!
