Before going into "Super Soul," Dilana wants to make sure that we know the song is about freedom and not anger. Now that she's not angry any more, of course. So much for letting the music speak for itself, which, we've already heard Gilby on that subject. The song starts, and it's quickly clear that the cane's just a prop, because she's quickly ditched it as she dances around at the end of the runway. Then she hops off the stage into the audience, cuts through, and climbs the judges' dais to sing right into their faces. From there, Dilana goes all the way to the back tier, where she demonstrates that no matter how rock & roll you are, high kicks, short black skirts, and white underwear don't mix. She works the rest of the room before returning to the judges' dais and finishing there before getting a roadie-back ride back to the stage.
Dave says to Dilana, "You know how much I love you, right? Multiply that by a thousand." Which is good, considering he can probably still taste her spit. He thinks that she's awesome and is glad to see her back. "Really smart to get your competitors to sing 'backup' for you," he adds. Tommy is almost at a loss for words, saying that she's beautiful to watch. Jason has one big suggestion: "Matching outfits for the boys. And Lukas, if you could work on the choreography." Heh. Gilby just says that he can't wait until tomorrow night. Whatever that means. We get Dilana's voting spiel, and Brooke reveals the startling news that Magni is the final remaining Supernovice, and he's singing next. Are you as amazed as I am?
