Kitchen. Max walks in alone and hears the whispered word, "Max." In walks a haggard-looking Tess "Mother Non-Earth" Harding, holding Star Baby in swaddling clothes and asking Max, "Hold him." She hands the kid over and collapses. No one rushes to help. The rest of the family runs in then and sees Max holding the baby. Who is that? Max has the answer at the ready: "It's my son." I hate car commercials on general principle, but would four dudes in a car ever ever EVER sing along in unison to a Barenaked Ladies song? Ever? Oh, wait. Maybe this commercial is, like, set in Canada or something.
