And now it's time for David's funeral. The graveside eulogist, also known as David's evil boss (it's snowing, by the way, even though it's supposed to be mid-April in New York. Not impossible, but still. Could this be the CONSPIRACY??? Perhaps there is a weather dominating machine coming up? That would definitely make this show worth watching) exposits that David leaves behind a wife, daughter, and son. He does not leave behind a second daughter and a grandchild because it turns out that they died. On 9/11. Because Will is also David's son-in-law. Even in super-secret government agencies, people are hired on the basis of who they're related to instead of their merits. But I guess this proves that David was not stealing the credit for Will's crossword puzzle find but trying to protect him. Also, why is David's wife sitting next to a black woman? There's a guy who must be David's son on one side of her and a black woman on the other. I'm going to take a wild guess and say that's probably not David's daughter. Way to be supportive of your grieving mother, David's surviving daughter. When it's over, Will walks up to David's family. I believe that's the other daughter holding an umbrella over her mother's head. Too little, too late! Will and David's wife share a sad hug.

Outside the graveyard, Will meets up with Maggie solely to remind us of her existence before they're interrupted by the evil boss, who glares at Maggie until she walks away so he can talk to Will privately (although not really, since they're in public and all) about David's replacement, who they need to find ASAP. And Evil Boss would like to offer that position to Will. BONUS! Special dead boss promotion for Will! But, of course, he not only declines the offer but also says he's thinking of quitting altogether. Evil Boss says he "expected this" somehow, then gives Will a few days to think about the promotion and his future with the organization. Even though he JUST SAID they couldn't leave David's position open for like more than five minutes. He pats Will on the shoulder and leaves. Grant runs up to him on the way out, clearly wanting to talk to him about taking David's job.
