Davis reminds her of when they met, amid an explosion and burning cars. He says that for a moment there, everything disappeared except the two of them. He doesn't think the feelings have changed. Chloe says she cares about him, but... He interrupts her and asks her to stay. He says that without Chloe, the man he wants to be doesn't exist. Ooh, that's a good one. Write that down, gentlemen. He leans in to kiss her. Chloe closes her eyes a little. She hesitates, then leans in. Kissin'. Smoochin'. Chloe raises her hands to Davis's face. She pushes him against the wall and their make-out gets more heated. They make out against a Bronte: A Love Story poster. Davis turns her around and pushes her up against the wall. She's feeling him up and down. Passion! They stop. Chloe notices something on the floor and blinks hard. She walks past Davis as the emo music falls away. It's replaced by moodier, darker music as Chloe notices a very obvious trail of blood on the floor. She asks about it. "What'd you think was gonna happen?" Davis asks. Chloe takes a candle and follows the blood trail. It leads to a misty part of the basement. Something is dripping from up high. Chloe pushes open a door and sees the top part of a torn-apart body hanging. Ew! Somebody call "Fangoria" magazine! [That is Clark, right? With a bloody "S" on his chest, in a twisted mirror image of that time they chained him up in the cornfield? Am I just crazy? I think I might be crazy. - Z]
"No!" Chloe cries. She's woken up in her bed. She looks around in fear. It was all just a dream. Or... was it? Yeah. It was probably a dream. Opening credits.
Commercials. Look, Honda Insight, I own a Prius. I know what a Prius looks like. You don't have to make yourself look just like a Prius for me to notice you. Having a naked lady driving would have done the job and been a lot cheaper.
