Clark and Raya go walking outside where it's pretty. Clark tells Raya that he was afraid he'd never see her again. He apologizes for leaving her behind in the Phantom Zone to get all knifed up. She says he had no choice and adds that if it weren't for Clark, she'd have never escaped. "I would have never seen all this," she's says, "it's more beautiful than the world your father described." Wow, sucks that she'll only ever see Kansas. Clark asks how Raya found him. Raya says that Clark's father told her about the family he'd chosen for Clark and about Smallville. Jarnelle chose his family? Before Clark was sent? I thought he just shipped the kid off and hoped for the best. Raya says it must have been hard for Clark to grow up here alone. Clark says that he had his parents and friends, but she comes back and says that nobody could have understood him. Clark ponders growing up with such a secret. She says it also must have been a huge rush to race trains and know that nothing could hurt him. Clark says he used to pretend not to notice that Bo watched him sometimes, wanting to know what that felt like. "But he never could," Raya says. Clark doesn't bother to correct her, even though Bo did have those powers at one point. Maybe the show just forgot. Clark says that no matter how he thinks he fits in, he's reminded that he's not normal. Raya says that Clark's not alone. "I'm here," she says. But for how long?
