House of Tobias. The storm is still going. Tobias is telling Lana that he thought the only thing she cared about in high school was lip gloss and pom-pons. Oh, she's left pom-pons far behind. Lip gloss, not so much. Lana says that Tobias didn't know her very well. He apologizes for thinking that about her. The doctor is suddenly in the house without Tobias's having heard him enter. He asks where Tobias is going and what Lana is doing there. The doctor says that he has to take Tobias to the medical center. The time has finally come for the surgery. Scary lightning illuminates the doctor. Tobias goes to get his jacket. Lana tells him that he can get the surgery somewhere else. Tobias says it's all right. He walks straight to the inside of a nearby closet and throws a breaker switch. All the lights go off. Lana gasps. Oh, it's Wait Until Dark! Dr. Bethany pulls out a device that looks like a gun, but much goofier. It emits a scary blue neon light from its blunt, circular tip. Lana notices the blue death ray.

Chloe's apartment. Jimmy walks in and sees Clark dabbing Chloe's wound with a bandage. He asks what the heck Clark did to his girlfriend. Chloe says that she had a tracking device in her, and that Clark had a pocket knife. "We improvised," says Clark. Jimmy is shocked. "'Improvised'!?" he asks. Yeah, you know, like when you ask the audience for the name of an animal and a knife to stab someone with? Chloe lies that it barely stung. They hear a beep on the computer. It's a green dot at the house of Tobias. Chloe says there's only one left. On Highway 52. "Tobias," Clark says. Ya think?
