Lex's home office. YCI walks in. Lex asks how he got in. YCI says the guard at the front is a nice guy. YCI tells Lex he can call off his lawyers; he's giving up the Kent farm because Smallville just isn't worth the trouble. Lex says, "Okay. Thanks for stopping by," which is what one of my old bosses would say when I would leave at the end of the day. YCI offers his hand in truce. Lex, lapsing into dumbness for once, looks at the hand, considering. We break for suspense and for commercials. Will Lex shake someone's hand? Oh, man, I just don't know!
