Outside, Chloe goes past a hole in the fence and gets into her yellow car. She tells Punky by phone that they might have a serious problem. We cut to another location where it appears Punky and Parasite are hanging out in another auto garage. Chloe is there with them and says they must have seen what happened. Parasite says that except for stealing Live Wire's powers, they didn't see what happened next. Chloe explains what happened with the object in the girl's brain. Punky still can't see what that has to do with them. Parasite just wants to go hunt Doomsday some more. Good luck with that! Chloe thinks Tess implanted the thing in the girl's head and doesn't think they can trust Tess at all anymore. Parasite and Punky stick up for Tess, saying she gave them a home and "three squares a day." Sadly, it's not food. It's actual squares of construction paper. Not very nourishing. Punky says Tess did a lot more for Chloe, and that Tess was there for all of them. Do what now? Chloe says that with all the procedures they had done to them at Black Creek, they might all be chipped as well. Parasite asks why Tess would kill one of them in cold blood when it took so long to put this team together. Punky thinks it would be out of character. She thinks someone else pulled the trigger, not Tess. Punky and Parasite start walking off, determined to finish their assignment. Chloe watches them go.
