Kent Farm. The cows really haven't gotten used to this whole "Clark is in charge now" business. Clark and Gwen Stefani arrive at the house. She can't believe Clark is Kal-El. She says Kal-El was a sweet, chubby baby who laughed when you tickled his feet. Hee hee. You can try tickling his feet now if you like. Clark gives her a look. She says she used to watch over him on Krypton. She was totally the babysitter. I bet she had boys over when she was supposed to be watching Tiny Clark. She says she left the planet right after Clark and that they were on the same trajectory. Clark says the ship seemed to have been in the water for a long time. He says she landed in the reservoir. He says the dam breaking was what brought her to the surface. She asks how long she was in suspended animation. Suspended animation? Really? Sure, why not. Just throw that in there for good measure. Clark says it was eighteen years. She says her "embedded learning program" (Kryptonphonics!) prepared her for lots of things, but not this. She paces back and forth a lot.
