Lois jokes that they'd be fitting her for a coffin instead of a wedding dress if something had happened. Er, yeah. Morbid, much? Clark asks when Lois heard about the wedding. Lois says she just called. She can't believe Chloe's getting married. "To Jimmy Olsen," she says with more than a trace of disgust. Clark says they're in love and Lois should be happy for them. Lois changes the subject to work. She hands over a copy of Clark's tiny obit. It's full of red marks. I thought Lois couldn't spell. Lois says they're notes of encouragement. She says "Smallville" has talent. Lois says that when she started, she just wanted to get her name on the front page. But now, sitting with Clark, she feels better about having uncovered the truth.
