Day Two starts with Broadway, which apparently means lots of jazz hands. I've never seen jazz hands in an actual musical, you know. And it also means Tyce DiOrio, loosed upon the world. This might be a good time to remind you that Joe is the one who took a vow of saying nice things about Tyce. Not me! So let's see here: In Tyce's routine, the girl is trash "in a good way," which means lots of hair flipping. And the guys don't know what their character is. Here's Tyce's idea of teaching: "You're never holding, you're always filling in. You're filling in with life! Thank you." Nobody understands that.
Judge swap! Adam Shankman is having his knee looked at, so Jason Gilkison is filling in. Why couldn't Adam's knee be a subplot the way Wadi's legs were? I care more about Adam than Wadi, you know? Nothing against Wadi, who's actually in the first group. He's with Jordan Casanova, whose audition made Tyce call her a "naughty naughty naughty girl." Li'l O is also in this group, and I really appreciate the extra work they're putting in, calling out the people from the auditions.
Dance time! Because this is a Tyce routine, half the guys are wearing extraneous fedoras. Everyone we've heard of is sent through, including both Mallory sisters and that Broadway kid. You remember him.
Rebecca Hart has been to the Vegas round four times, and she's starting to get tired of this. And she's partnered with Jeremiah, who does creepy push-ups. He freaked out during Mia's number, and she's not the sort of person who forgives that. This ia their shot at redemption! I just noticed that we haven't heard even a single word from Pussycat Dolls Lady. I'm okay with that! Debbie tells Jeremiah that he's through, but barely. He's willing to take that. Jason tells Rebecca she is not through, and she instantly asks to dance for her life. Tyce gets all Tyce-y at her, and I think he said "No." She ramps up the drama about not having any money, and Nigel tells her she'll eventually get there. She's out. We lose another fourteen dancers, but I've lost track so I don't know exactly how many we have.
Now Jason Gilkison has a Jive dance for everyone. It has fast footwork and lifts. And that slide through the legs, which is kind of inevitable. It is apparently hard on the dancers' feet, which I totally believe. We see some foot blood, of course. Some of it ame out of Ryan Ramirez, who was one of the lady dancers who got cut by having Li'l C come to her house last season. That was dumb, wasn't it?
