I'm really excited when I hear that the first dance will be Tiffany and Benji Schwimmer doing a Jean-Marc Genereaux-choreographed cha-cha to "What I Like about You" by Lillix. I have always loved Benji but after watching the interview Joe linked to earlier this season, I love him even more. Coming out and getting more comfortable with himself suits him and he looks SO much older than when he was on the show. Fine, yes, I know that also was way back in 2006, I don't want to think about how long ago that actually was, thankyouverymuch.

From the get-go, it's clear these two are having an absolute blast and the energy level throughout is just insane. They successfully pull off a triple-cartwheel move that was promised in their first rehearsal. Benji's footwork is beyond crazy, but Tiffany totally keeps up with him and the two make an amazing pair; when they finish, the two are utterly giddy and get a well-deserved standing ovation. Seriously, I am so cuted out right now, especially when Cat has them take a bow for a job well done.

Nigel applauds Tiffany for holding her own with Benji, who he notes is by far the best swing dancer they have had on the show. Mary compliments Tiffany's great technique on the jive kicks. Christina tells everyone that she and Benji have actually taken dance class together and she clearly adores him. She admits the fear that I'm sure we all had, that Tiffany wouldn't be able to keep up with Benji's technique and personality, but says she did an amazing job. Basically, the stage is about to melt with all of the pure joy flowing through the theater right now.
