And now the guys are out on stage so we can recap how awesome they were. (A: Very awesome.) Who's safe? Joshua's safe, and Mark and Twitch are sent off stage to chew their fingernails.
Lady Gaga, whoever that is, comes out to dance out her own scary version of what the future will look like, which is equal parts Christina Aguilera, Robert Palmer and Wham. She advises the crowd to just dance. She wears crazy perforated shades with crystalesque growth and sings into some kind of funky lightbulb microphone while a crowd of dancers flail about being her, one of whom is Jason, a Season 2 finalist. I did not notice because a) I didn't watch that season, and b) I am terrified/fascinated by Lady Gaga.
After we all recover, Chelsie and Courtney are back out on stage to find out that, after 11 million votes, Chelsie's saying sayonara and Courtney's joining Katee in the finale. Chelsie takes it well. Better than I am! Oh, and the montage does her in and the tears start gushing. She thanks the judges and everyone, and says she's grateful.
She gets booted off stage to make way for Mark and Twitch -- and it's Twitch who's moving on. He and Mark hug, and after the montage, Mark is much more dry-eyed, and talks about how amazing the whole experience has been. What's amazing is that his hot-pink tanktop hasn't burned out my television screen.
