To Be, Part 1 - In the aftermath of Clay's shooting, Jax steps into the presidential shoes. His first act: trigger a race war that will doubtlessly reverberate through the next few seasons. (Thanks, Tig, for being the trigger man on that one.) Meanwhile, Gemma finally moves to manipulate Jax to do her bidding, only to discover that the student has become the master and Tara has out-schemed her.

The Crows Come Home to Roost

Burnt and Purged Away - Both Bobby Elvis and Clay suffer setbacks as a result of their earlier poor decisions: Big Otto finally ratted as retribution for the club's failure to protect his beloved Luann, and Clay has approximately 400 lbs of grief-crazed biker headed his way thanks to a vengeful Opie. Meanwhile, Wendy continues to make a strong case that she may well be the best mother figure on the show.

Meet the Real Walking Dead

Call of Duty - Unser and Otto both decide that there’s no point in living cautiously when you know you’re going to die -- and they act accordingly. Juice’s behavior concerns Chibs, and Clay continues to give people reasons to kill him. Meanwhile, a surprise visitor pushes Tara into heavy-sedation territory and Gemma winces her way through the day.

Manos, The Hands of Fate

Hands - Tara's paws gets mangled in a kidnapping attempt, leading to her breaking down and darkly prophesying that fate won't let her or Jax get out of Charming. Clay's hands get a workout when he uses them to pummel Gemma. And Roosevelt learns how to give the middle finger to Potter.

Ain’t No Particular Thug They’re More Compatible With

Kiss - SAMCRO discovers that the Niners have been stepping out on them with another cartel, and Jax handles the situation with a minimum of bloodshed. Meanwhile, Gemma discovers Piney’s body, Tara discovers her copies of the letters have been stolen, and Big Otto discovers his brothers have been lying to him.

How to Get a Head in Business Without Even Trying

Family Recipe - SAMCRO learns, in graphic detail, that cartels do not mess around when it comes to dealing with the competition. This inspires a chili recipe modification on Chuckie's part, a blackmail threat on Clay's part, and a flight from Charming on Tara's part.

Juice Can't Concentrate

Fruit for the Crows - The strains of sitting on the truth about his parentage, lying to the club about the circumstances under which Miles happened to die, and getting jerked around by law enforcement all get to Juice, and his club members finally – FINALLY – realize something may be going on. Also, it hits SAMCRO that Mexican cartels don't conduct their outlaw activities under any sort of honor code.

The Sins of the Fathers

With an X - If there's a unifying theme in this week's episode, it's this: Do not have children with a man in a biker gang, for those kids will end up screwed up (OPIE), or perhaps make you pay for it later (TIG), or else tether you to a living situation in which your father-in-law asks a cartel to kill you (TARA). Also, Juice spends the entire episode in a panic, and justifiably so.

Liar, Liar, Club On Fire

Brick - Everyone lies to everyone in this episode -- Clay and Jax to the club regarding Luann’s last sexual partner; Clay to the club regarding his plans for Charming Heights; Clay and Gemma to one another. But Clay does finally come clean about one thing: Why John Teller died and what he had to do with it.
