Speaking of trading up or down on second partners, we're back at Jax's place. There's a gorgeous garden in the front (Gemma's doing? She had some excess energy when Clay wasn't around) and a sign indicating that the place is being remodeled. Tara comes out with Thomas's car seat and gets into her shiny, clean minivan. (Minivan! Remember when she used to drive that bad-assed Charger around?) Unser discreetly pulls out and begins following her.
Meanwhile, it's visiting time in Stockton. Someone wheels Big Otto over to the table where Bobby Elvis is nervously twiddling his thumbs. Bobby Elvis opens with, "How you holding up, brother?" but Big Otto's having none of it: "You got something to tell me?" Bobby Elvis gives a refreshingly BS-free apology: "I'm sorry. I got no excuse. It just happened." Big Otto grills him: How long? Did you love her? Bobby Elvis says no, he didn't love Luann. "And she didn't love me. You were the only one who mattered?" Big Otto has revenge on the mind, and Bobby Elvis lies about them finishing off Georgie Caruso in revenge for Luann. Because, as we all know, lying never, ever comes back to bite anyone in the ass on this show.
And now, for the final scene: the boys are counting out the bricks for the Mayans and they've just made the unwelcome discovery that there's a brick missing. The show ends with everyone in the room looking alarmed for various reasons, and the camera closes in on Juice, who couldn't look guiltier if he had a big neon "GUILTY" sign blinking over his head. But, as we've established repeatedly in this episode, even if there were neon signs broadcasting the truth, not a single SAMCRO member would be able to see them clearly.
