They all four go to the bathroom. Girls' room. Nicole wants Brooke to "ask him." Nicole thinks he's nice. Brooke agrees.
Boys' room. Tim asks what he thinks of Brooke. "Dude, Brooke's a smokin' chick, man," says Jarreau. Tim replies, "She's a weird chick though, man." The cameraman barges inside the room as Jarreau discusses Brooke's wishy-washy nature towards him. He says he can't figure he out. Well, she's a girl -- that's all you need to know. They leave, Jarreau saying, "It's weird!" Yes, it is. That's the whole point of them.
The next night. Tim and Nicole are out again. Tim calls Brooke and asks her out again. No, he calls and they discuss Jarreau. Brooke is immediately backing out of the thing, babbling about how it now seems like something that it isn't and she doesn't know why she has to be the one to call. For all Brooke's talk of everyone around her acting like third-graders -- that's exactly how she acts around boys. Brittany is in the room, rubbing her face in disgust -- or rubbing her face to try to get the spiders off. Tim says some junior-high shit about Jarreau having asked if Brooke likes him, and Brooke is all, "What?!" Tim says she should just tell him it's just as friends, and then he says Jarreau kept asking what her "deal is." Brooke whines, "I don't have a deal!" Tim says he told Jarreau that she's a very "confusing" girl, and that she pretty much doesn't like any boys. "Thanks, Tim," says Brooke. "Ew, I hate him," Brooke says, after hanging up. She tells Brittany what Tim said. "Just because I said no to you?" says Brooke. Hee. My girlfriend just walked through the room and said, "Oh, man. I hope Brooke comes out this season." Ha.
Tim and Nicole try to decide what to do -- who should call Jarreau and explain that Brooke is a nutcase.
Brooke and Brittany talk about what a dork Tim is. "He's the dork," says Brittany, high on mescaline and airplane glue. Brooke camera-prisses that she thought maybe she could date Jarreau, "but not enough to pick up the phone and call, I guess." What? Brooke says that now she's not calling him. She goes on that she hasn't had to look for a date in a long time and she doesn't know what to do. She camera-talks, "I'm disappointed that this is what the world has come to." Goddamn, that's great. She's so seven. Brooke immediately goes back to the Highlights For Kids website as Brittany goes to score some hash. Commercials.
