And we're in Starfleet court, where ridiculous-looking aliens, which were probably stolen from the Tatooine aliens reject pile at Skywalker Ranch, chat amongst themselves. "The accused" are brought in, and it's everyone on the Enterprise crew except for Spock, until he leaves the stands to take his place among them. President Papa Smurf informs Spock that he doesn't have to be there, but Spock says he will stand with his shipmates because he's awesome like that. President Papa Smurf charges the crew with conspiracy, assault on Federation officers, theft of Federation property (the Enterprise), sabotage (of the Excelsior), willful destruction of the Enterprise, and of course, disobeying direct orders. How does Admiral Kirk plead? Kirk pleads guilty on everyone's behalf. President says there are mitigating circumstances, like Kirk and Krew saving the Earth and stuff, and so all charges but one are dropped. Admiral Kirk alone stands accused of disobeying direct orders, and his punishment is demotion to Captain. You just know that they were about to drop all the charges, but then they saw that Kirk brought the horrible shrieking Annie back to their century and they were all, "I'm not sure if our planet is worth saving, now that we have her around," so they decided to punish Kirk anyway. Annie, in the stands with Sarek, to what I'm sure is his dismay, smiles. President Papa Smurf thanks the crew for saving Earth, and everyone in the stands giving them a standing ovation. "Bravo!" Yeoman Rand shouts. Too bad she isn't wearing that really cool wig with the weaving design in it anymore. I barely recognized her! Spock and Kirk look deep into each other's eyes. People rush from the stands to congratulate the crew. Kirk looks for Annie, because he always gets the girl and this movie is almost over. He finds her, and she says she's really happy for him and really grateful. Then she moves to leave and Kirk's all, "Uh…wait...I'm supposed to have sex with you now." Annie says she has to get going to her new station, a science vessel. Ha! You know they totally assigned her to a garbage scow way out in deep space and told her it was a "science vessel." She'll never know the difference, and they can get rid of her forever -- it's perfect! Kirk is disappointed, and asks how he can find Annie for his future booty calls. "I'll find you," she says, and kisses him on the cheek. Kirk is momentarily disappointed, but then he sees Spock. ["I'm sorry, but he's so pathetically desperate here and she so totally Heisman-ed him -- it's GREAT!" --Keckler]
