Carolina directs James to be very aggressive with Janelle. He interviews that this will be a challenge for him. They rehearse their piece and it seems really disjointed. Afterwards, Jerry tells them that none of their stories are connected.
That night, at the lofts, the dancers are still working. Oscar is going over something with Mochi and Cody and he's wearing no shirt and the shortest, whitest shorts. Mochi asks him if he wants to put some more clothes on, and he quickly answers, "No." It's kind of perfect. Am I going to end up loving Oscar? ["Get in line, friend. He's just so...weird. It's fantastic." -- Joe R] Then, Cody tells him that he would be more comfortable if Oscar had a shirt on. Give up the ghost, Mary. Poor dejected naked-loving Oscar starts going to his bedroom, but turns around and does the Nomi jazz hands move and says, "Freedom of Expression!" Mochi tells him to "Rock it out," and as she climbs over Cody she falls on the floor. I like it that she took it back, though I would be more comfortable if Oscar had more clothes on.
In the other apartment, Tovah and Miguel open the door to find Jessica. They fake close the door on her, which, if we're talking second grade.... She's very eager to rehearse, but Miguel and James are drinking wine and don't really care about rehearsing. She's worried about being the elimination group.
The next morning, James reminds us that he and Miguel are "sistahs." Miguel interviews that he is very confident with his group. James says to him, "The family that prays together stays together." And, Miguel replies warmly, "That's what I hear." Then they laugh really hard.
