At The Risk Of Being Unpopular...

Matt's office, which is still being occupied by Tom and Captain Boyle. Tom exposits that his parents are in another office with the Air Force chaplain. His mom's been given a sedative, while his dad is "taking shots of a sedative called Johnnie Walker Red." That joke's almost as creaky as the Doogie line. Tom gets Boyle to confirm that he can't give any information whatsoever regarding a rescue mission. Boyle then sees another still photo of Tom on the news and asks Tom just how famous he is. Considering he's the Jason Sudekis/Andy Samberg of the Studio 60 cast, I'd wager "not very." Tom says he's only getting this much attention because there's nothing else going on, which is a softball right down the middle of the plate that Boyle smacks with the observation that there are, in fact, two wars going on. "Well, now they're covering one of them," says Tom, which again is a big fat one just waiting for Boyle to knock it out of the park as he asks if Tom could have a relative run into trouble in the Ninth Ward of New Orleans. They start talking about the characters Tom plays on the show: Bush, John Edwards, Trump, whoever. Boyle reminds him that he does Muhammad, and Tom defensively says his brother isn't where he is right now because of a character Tom plays on the show. Boyle's like, "Yeah, I'm sure the Taliban watches Studio 60." Hey, nobody else did. Tom asks Boyle why he's even here with him. "For comfort," Boyle says. Tom tells him he's not much good at it, and I suddenly get the feeling I've seen this before, only Boyle looked much more like Adam Arkin. Boyle once again won't engage in a discussion about how Mark is being treated, which just gets Tom angrier. Boyle offers to let Tom hit him, considering it won't even hurt a little. Tom calls him a "jackass" and fixes himself a drink.
