Downstairs, Matt knocks on Harriet's door -- dumb, dude -- and finds her inside with Luke, who's talking movie talk with his female lead. It's way awkward, and Luke's back to being not as appealing when we see him clean-shaven and in a blazer. He should go on Survivor. Matt stiffly asks if Luke's staying for the show, but he can't. "We're doing Singing Teacher," says Matt. "That stopped being mine a long time ago," Luke condescends. "You write it well now." Luke kisses Harriet on his way out, which is nice turnabout on Matt. Harriet asks Matt if he needs anything, and he says he thought he had a note for her. "Do you?" she asks. He did, he's just forgotten it. "Okay," she smiles, and Matt looks at her like she's trying to pull one over on him. Like she'll suddenly reveal he's on Punk'd and everything will go back to him getting his way. Instead, Matt back away, and Harriet shuts the door. FOREVER.
