The teams dress back at the loft. No surprise, all the skinny bitches look great. Danielle admits the runway show will be stressful because of her size. Over at Team Reject, Devin whips out her rose-colored glasses to opine that her team has the most room for improvement. Meanwhile, Kate steadily loses my sympathy with constant whining. She bellyaches that her outfits don't represent her style sense and harps on about her old, boobalicious clothes. Devin thinks she doesn't understand teamwork. Mark those words, kids.
They head to ELLE Downtown to meet Brett, who adds another element to the challenge. Group members will each select one photo of themselves from the runway and write 30 words about their style, then the group will create a mock-up "Contributors" page for the magazine. Devin is ecstatic to use her editorial experience from NYU. Megan continues banging out her one-note symphony saying she was excited to use her brain... (then adds) "for the first time." Why is she even here? If there's anyone who likes this girl, (s)he should cross the street if they ever see me.
And on with the show. Team 1 (Ashlie, Cologne, Dyshaun, and Johanna) takes the stage wearing a mix of '60s and '70s clothing -- huge accessories, blousy shirts, and broad skirts. Ashlie says they chose iconic, yet trendy pieces. Mixed in with all of this, though, Dyshaun is wearing one of those saggy knit caps that Colin Farrell used to wear, like, four years ago, white jeans, and mandals. Really?
Team MAD (Megan, Arnaldo, and Danielle) chose preppier, more put-together looks that embody "chic simplicity with a dash of color." Aside from some perplexing suspenders, Arnaldo looks totally smokin'. He brought his notebook onstage to show that he's contemplative and that he likes to "think outside of the box... and sometimes take the box and turn it into a triangle." Mmmmmkay.
