Harvey comes up to Jessica and says Louis can't hire Maria, who never met Mike and is likely to expose him as a fraud. "Goddamn Mike Ross," Jessica says, "He's the gift that keeps on giving." Well, Jessica, if it weren't for Mike, you wouldn't even be in this episode.

Louis gets called in to Jessica's office and she tells Louis to rescind the offer, lying that there's a hiring freeze on after the mess with Daniel. Louis takes this as punishment, and Jessica goes along with that, insisting Louis make it go away and then rudely dismissing him. Yep, the Treat Louis Like Shit protocol is clearly official firm policy.

Mike meets Katrina in court for Liam's sentencing and whispers that Liam was driving under the influence at the time of the accident. She asks how he knows that, and he says he can't tell her that. She thanks him, but when the judge enters and the session begins, Katrina stands up and fails to tell the judge anything new, gladly ratifying the deal she and Mike agreed on before. As Mike follows her out to demand what's up, Katrina accuses Mike, correctly, of having violated privilege, which could mess up not only Mike but Katrina herself if she used the privileged information. Mike gets all judgey with her now, accusing her of looking the other way so she can get the job at Pearson Hardman and flat-out accusing her of bribery, asking her how she can look in the mirror. Well, she is cute. She turns the question around on him, saying he's the one with a problem if he's willing to break privilege, which is so much worse than lying about running over a guy while baked. Lawyers: they're not like you and me.
