Nursed to Hell

Donna finds Rachel arguing with her computer, namely the dating site pop-ups that keep appearing. Donna informs her that they're hitting happy hour with Harvey's corporate card. So one of the three people in the firm who knows Mike's secret is going out to get drunk with one of the last people who should find out. Excellent plan.

In the hallway to the elevator, Mike is advising Harvey to try for a temporary restraining order rather than the strike-killing injunction Harvey's insisting on going for and ends up so offending Harvey with his use of the phrase "safer bet" that Harvey un-invites him to the hearing.

Mike returns to the bullpen to see Louis dressing down the associates. He breaks the news that he's got a rep from Harvard coming in and he wants them to convince her "that Pearson Hardman makes you shit rainbows." That's pretty clear.

Harvey arrives at the courtroom to find Hardman already there and he's none too happy about it. He tries to shoo Hardman out of there, but the judge not only starts the hearing early but also tells Hardman that he's giving him a TRO. Harvey looks ready to shit... and not rainbows either. Out on the courthouse steps, Harvey yells at an unrepentant Hardman for hijacking the hearing. Hardman warns him not to mistake his change for weakness and reminds him that his name's on the door. "Didn't get there by me taking shit from the likes of you." He offers to either work with Harvey or do it his way. The scene ends as though there's any question which one Harvey's going to pick.

Outside the hospital -- where the strike is already about to get underway -- Mike congratulates himself to Harvey on having had the same idea as a managing partner, which doesn't exactly endear him to his boss. They find Margo Martindale, who reports that Hardman's already been by with the TRO, but she's still planning to strike in 48 hours as soon as the time's up. Harvey rips the TRO in half and drops the pieces on the ground, advising her to go ahead and strike. He figures their strike fund won't last a week, with the confidence of someone who could easily spend that entire fund in a week all by himself. Just for good measure, he adds that his previous offer is off the table and that the deal is only going to get worse every day they strike. After having thus proven his dickitude, he walks off with Mike (who takes him to task for littering), saying, "Trust me, they'll cave." Always a good idea to underestimate Margo Martindale.
