Harvey goes in to see Darby, who observes, "You're looking determined." Harvey agrees that he is, and he's decided to change the terms of their arrangement. Darby points out that Harvey might not even win, given that he made it harder with the special prosecutor. "That's my problem," Harvey says. Darby points out that Harvey's now using the increased difficulty to renegotiate. "That's your problem," Harvey says. So it seems like both of those things are actually Darby's problem. "We both know how important Eva is to you," Harvey says, just as Jessica was afraid he would. Darby asks what Harvey wants, and it's this: "I win, you don't fire me. You back me for managing partner." "You want to take down Jessica?" Darby realizes. "Yes, I do," Harvey says. Wow, look who's burning bridges with his partner and his mentor. Or maybe that's just what he wants us to think.
