Later, the man wanders onto a sound stage made up to look like the downtown area of a small 1950s town. He walks up to an unassuming-looking building and knocks on a door that bears the same symbol as his tiepin. Like nobody's going to notice this obviously occultish symbol just blatantly hanging out there in plain view. The door opens and an unseen man welcomes the visitor inside.
The inside looks something like a church, with somber hallways and stained glass windows. Good job on the part of the crew, who also included the hexagram in the windows. The young man is greeted by a pretty lady in a silver taffeta cocktail dress. "Josie, they didn't tell me this initiation was a formal affair," he says. "Well, someone had to class up the job, right Henry?" she asks. She fingers his tie in a familiar manner. She looks a bit nervous. "Well, the hard part's over. We made it." A man in a silly burgundy velvet robe interrupts to call Josie in to her initiation. She follows him after casting one last look back at Henry.
Moments later, agonized screams erupt from the initiation room. Henry rushes inside to find several men lying in pools of velvet and blood. Only one man is left standing and he's furiously chanting something in Latin at Josie. One injured fellow raises himself up off the ground just enough to get Henry's attention. "Do not let Abaddon get it," he says, pressing a small wooden box into Henry's hand. Josie grabs her would-be exorcist by the throat. "That's impossible!" he gasps. She turns to look at Henry with all-black eyes and shrieks at him. She sort of reminds me of Katherine Heigl, only maybe a little less demonic. Henry just about poops himself as he scampers away.
He locks himself in a room lined with shelves full of bottles of mysterious powders and tinctures. He rushes to mix together various ingredients as Josie verrrry slowwwwly strolls down a hallway, opening one door at a time with a wave of her demonically powerful hand. You'd think that if she wanted that secret box so badly, she would be a little quicker about it. Or maybe she should have been a little more subtle about getting the box in the first place. Making people hemorrhage out of their eyes should never be one's first move. Anyway, Henry slices into the palm of his hand to add a little blood to his concoction. He uses it to draw a symbol onto the door. He chants something that sounds like, "Calamari... poo go!" Josie has finally made her way to the door, but it won't open for her. It begins to shake and glow. "Calamari... poo go!" The door shakes ever more violently until it finally gives way. Henry tumbles through it...
