We leave behind that scene of suspense so we can rejoin Sam and his foray into cyberstalking. At this point, he's called up Amela's driving records and even her grades from veterinary school. He has a flashback that picks up right where the last one left off. Amelia, coming through the door, asks, "So, that's what you do, stalk helpless women, break into their motel room, and you fix their plumbing?" Oh, my God, shut up. Shut up! He points out that she broke the disposal with all her limes and he's filling in for the owner while he's sick. They blah blah blah and find out that Amelia's been living in the motel for three months because she hasn't found a place to live yet. Then she realizes she doesn't really have to explain herself and sends him on his way.

In the present, Dean calls Sam back to ask him why Sam called a little while ago, like it couldn't wait a little while. Or like a pack of vampires won't hear him even if he's whispering. He tells Sam about being in a vampire nest, which understandably freaks baby bro right out. "WHAT?! Are you an idiot? You know better than to go into a vamp nest alone!" At the first raised decibel of Sam's shouting, Dean hurries to press the phone to his chest to muffle the sound. "I'm not alone," Dean whisper-shouts back. Sam thinks Dean is talking about Garth. Perish the thought. "You don't know him. He's a friend," Dean says. Sam can't believe what he's hearing. "Dean, you don't have any friends! All your friends are dead!" This whole conversation is loud enough that every vampire in the house must be partially deaf not to hear it.

Back at Benny's family reunion, Andrea tells Sorrento to go fill in the Old Man. Sorrento scowls but does as he's told. "He listens to you?" Benny asks. "It's been a long time," Andrea says. "Father has come to trust my judgment over Sorrento's." Benny looks just a wee bit disgusted. "Sleeping with God's gotta have its perks," he says. Andrea backhands him. She sends the other two vamps away so she can have a moment alone with her ex. She grabs the front of Benny's shirt and pulls him into a kiss. Her animosity was all a ruse. She caresses his face and stares deeply into his eyes. She tells him the Old Man changed his mind and instead of killing her, turned her. "I'm sorry," Benny says. "All this is because of me. I'm sorry." She pets him some more. "It's not your fault. You never hid anything from me, Benny. I chose you." Benny understands all that, but he doesn't understand why she chose to stay with the Old Man. Uh, maybe because she wanted to keep her head? Just a guess. But she basically tells him the same thing he told Dean, about the maker worship and all. She takes a huge switchblade from the waistband of her pants and tucks it into Benny's coat pocket. She begs him to kill the Old Man because she can't. She presses the keys to the cuffs into his hand. "You understand that I came back to burn his operation to the ground," Benny says. "To stop the killing." Andrea hears a door open somewhere in the house and touches Benny's face one last time. She whispers, "Do what you came for and we can be together."
