She's exasperated and out of breath, and tells them to cut the crap. Dean rushes at her with his tiny flask of holy water. The tiny weapons are no longer amusing. She waves her arm in front of herself and Dean's stunt wire retracts him back, flinging him against the wall. Short Lip wants the gun. Sam lies that they buried it. Sam is standing in front of Bobby, clasping the older man's shirt sleeve, and they walk backwards in tandem as Short Lip advances on them. It's very Fred and Ginger of the two men. Short Lip speaks for us all when she rails at Sam's lame lying: "After all I've heard about you Winchesters, I've gotta tell you, I'm a little underwhelmed." She calls them "chuckleheads" and asks if they really thought she wouldn't find them. Dean hulks into the background and remarks, "Actually, we were counting on it." She turns around toward him slowly, he glowers at her with a lowered chin, and then slowly turns his glance to the ceiling. Her eyes follow his, and we cut to a shot of the protective circle thing-y painted on the ceiling. Dean: "Gotcha!" Metal Teeth Chomp. Zappy credits.Short Lip sits tied to a chair in the circle. How did they manage to tie her up? Does the protective circle weaken a demon? Short Lip makes the requisite sex joke about getting tied up. Bobby marches in and tells the boys that he salted the doors and windows to keep any other demons from getting in. Dean demands to know where his father is. Short Lip tells him to ask nicely. Dean revises, "Where's our father, bitch?" Short Lip asks if he kisses his mother with that mouth and then fake-realizes that he probably doesn't. Dean starts going a bit Alberto Gonzalez on her, getting in her face and screaming at her. Short Lip says John died screaming. Dean hauls off and backslaps her across the face. Short Lip does some open-mouthed deviant acting, breathing that Dean hitting a girl is a turn-on. Dean retorts, "You're no girl," and Bobby takes this moment to quit sitting on his ass and tell Sam and Dean that Short Lip is really a girl who's been possessed. Sam and Dean, Demon Hunters Extraordinaire, obviously had no idea. Dean is flabbergasted that there is "an innocent girl trapped somewhere in there" but then realizes that this is good news. Presumably because a possession means that there can be an exorcism, rather than just random smacking around. Now, if only everyone being held at Guantanamo were possessed...
