One day before Halloween: Sam and Dean interview Mommy -- that is Luke's widow -- i.e. Mrs. Wallace. They're in suits again. That's not a complaint; I'm just starting to feel a bit manipulated by the writers. Put 'em in their pretty clothes. The girls will go wild. And okay, it's a fair cop. Fortunately, there's lots of be-suited goodness for us, in this episode. While Dean snoops around the kitchen, Mrs. Wallace tells Sam that one blade was stuck in Luke's throat, one was in his stomach, and two were on the floor. This was not a big piece of candy, yo. It wasn't teeny; it was bigger than a Hershey's kiss -- smaller than a Chunky, and there was not room for four blades. Something's afoot. Could it be...eeeevil? Noticing a scuff mark on the floor, Dean moves the fridge and finds a hex bag hidden it. Sam asks if Luke had any enemies, but this question just confounds Mrs. Wallace. When he asks if there could be another woman, she laughs and reminds him that she has a baby -- and made sure Daddy had plenty of baby duty, which is more potent than salt peter. Or perhaps she just gets incredibly offended, and who can blame her. Sam apologizes -- he's just trying to hit all the bases. Mrs. Wallace is still incensed. "If someone wanted to kill my husband, don't you think they'd find a better way than a razor in a piece of candy he might eat?" It was four -- but I quibble.
