...Taylor County Medical Center, where the good doctor Cara greets Sam with a very pleased smile on her face until he and Dean request the blood samples she drew from Adam Benson and his partners in crime. She's about to demand an explanation for their interest in those samples when someone calling himself Agent Nick Monroe of the FBI's Omaha field office wanders onto the scene, and the good doctor excuses herself so the three boys can whip them all out and measure them in private. Sam eventually flicks Nick a business card with their supposed assistant director's phone number on it, and Nick steps aside to confirm their credentials. Of course, because Bobby is awesome that way, the number actually rings one of a set of phones at Bobby's Emporium -- each phone labeled with an appropriate agency's name to match the fake IDs the LYING LIARS WHO LIE tote around on each case -- and not only does Bobby confirm Our Intrepid Heroes' credentials for the hapless agent in the saltiest terms possible on network television, he does so clad in a well-used Kiss The Cook! apron while casually frying up some bacon. Hee. Nick Monroe, appropriately chastened, hangs up on Bobby and apologizes to Sam and Dean for stepping on their procedural toes, or whatever, before noting he was just going to run the perps' bloodwork. Sam, thinking fast, LIES that he and Dean already covered that route of inquiry and it unfortunately led to a dead end, so Nick next proposes heading over to The Honey Wagon to see if they can dig up any leads there. Dean's close to dismissing the guy entirely, but Sam, thinking fast again, pulls Dean aside to hiss, "You gotta stay with him!" Dean's all, "Whaaaaa?" so Sam elaborates that Dean must distract actual FBI agent Nick with the strippers so fake FBI agent Sam can get the blood samples. Dean's not at all happy with this plan, but he eventually acquiesces, and we presently find him...
